Even international popstars pound the pavements. Case in point, Ellie Goulding. One morning – aged 18 – Ellie Goulding just woke up and decided to start running, and she hasn’t stopped since.
I’m way more confident when I’ve worked out…
I don’t really care if my weight fluctuates as long as I’m fit. You don’t need to be skinny to have confidence but you can put on the most beautiful dress and if you’re not feeling comfortable it won’t look beautiful. Right now my favourite designers are Alex Wang, Acne and Helmut Lang.
I try to fit running in to my crazy schedule…
It’s tough and there are some instances where I physically don’t have a second but I love running around different cities. I travel a lot but the only time I get to see stuff is when I go running and it’s a massive endorphin release!
I usually interval train…
I run pretty fast, then slow down to a walk, then start jogging… and repeat. It’s also my technique for getting through a long run. I don’t put pressure on myself to go really fast, as long as I’m moving and running the majority I’m happy.
When I run I just focus on my technique…
And where and how far I’m going. Nothing else goes through my head. It’s great because most of the time I’m thinking about a million things at once.My favourite summer song is…

left is me flexing my abs, right is me relaxing my stomach. this is after a normal day at school, my tummy full of healthy and nutritious food. i get enough fiber, i get enough protein, i get enough carbs, i get enough of every essential vitamin and nutrient. so why does this happen?
meet my awesome, amazing, super helpful gastrointestinal tract. it helps me digest food and absorb nutrients, expanding in the process. it only makes sense that my stomach would be so ‘bloated’ looking because there is food in my stomach. healthy, awesome, delicious food sitting in my small intestine and being carried to my stomach. how fabulous is that? my entire body is one big beautiful physiological biorhythm. eating disorders shouldn’t tell you otherwise, because after i’ve had ample sleep, i’ll wake up like the photo on the left after my gastrointestinal tract has finished digesting the food i ate the day before. new concept, i know.. crazy, eh?
